So, if you follow me on Instagram (follow me @_thepinkchickadee!), then you have probably seen even just a peak of my thrifting obsession. I LOVE LOVE LOVE thrifting! My Mom and Step Dad got me HOOKED on thrifting when I was in the Eighth Grade and I thrifted ALL through out high school and still do. And, since then, I have found several items of name brands throughout the years!

What is thrifting?
Thrifting is essentially the shopping of items that are usually pre-loved for a fraction of the cost, which are sold at a thrift store. Many thrift stores sell items for under $20 and even $10 and even *yes, even* $5. Items that can be thrifted include everything ranging from clothing to home goods to books and even furniture.
What are some popular thrift stores?
Some of the most popular thrift stores include, The Salvation Army, Goodwill, local businesses, and my favorite 2nd Ave. Stores – find them here: https://www.2ndavestores.com/
Items I Have Thrifted
So, before I share my list of items I thrifted since my almost-decade of doing so, I want to say that there are many many many more brands that I have seen while thrifting that I have *yet* to purchase an item of that brand. Actually, a few weeks back, my friend’s cousin spotted a Gucci dress at one of our local Salvation Army’s. The reason that I share this list is because you can find ANYTHING while thrifting yes, ANYTHING! Thrifting is most definitely a luck of the draw, as you NEVER know what you will find. on each thrifting adventure of mine, I have always found something to take home. To be honest, I am a bit of a name brand snob and I do have my favorite fashion brands that I love too (they’re mostly preppy fashion brands – haha!), especially when I thrift, as I LIVE for a good bargain. BUT, I have always had luck with thrifting for these name brand items that I oh so love. AND, the best part is that so can YOU! Whatever you’re interested in buying at a thrift store will probably be on the racks at several thrift stores in your area, meaning that YOU *yes, you!!!* will have some good luck thrifting, too.
XOXO – Katie <3
