The Gallery Wall By My Bathroom!

Over the years, I have been curating several canvases, prints, and paintings to hang in the hallway outside of my bathroom. Initially, parts of the gallery wall have been hanging there for a year now. BUT, since I *finally* learned how to use a hammer and nail to hang some photos on my own, I finished off my gallery wall by my bathroom (shoutout to Papa for teaching me!!!). Although 6+ years in the making, I am SOOOO excited to be able to share the details of this highly anticipated and dreamt about gallery wall of mine!

I started collecting prints and canvases for my gallery wall since my college years when I moved into my college apartment (here) my Junior year back in 2019. Some of these pieces are in their original frames that I purchased via The Dollar Tree from small businesses (mainly from All She Wrote Notes & The Redheaded Camel!) and Etsy sales as well as from The Dollar Tree or DIY-ed. Other pieces are purchased from my travels via visits to the Louisville, Kentucky flea market when I went in 2023, the Bryant Park Christmas Market in New York City when I went in 2024, and markets in London when I went in 2018 alongside *none other than* Home Goods and Walmart. The most meaningful pieces on the gallery wall beside my bathroom is are a canvas that my step mother gifted me of my late childhood Yorkie Butters and a gold shamrock that was my late grandfather’s whom I call Deedat. Truly, this gallery wall of mine is such a special, vibrant, and and nostalgic place within my apartment.

ANDDDDDD, I’m excited to share this sweet spot with YOU today!
